Meet Lisa: The Story Behind Lisa's Little Shoppe

Hi, I'm Lisa. 🎃

If you found your way here, you're probably one of two people: a Halloween-obsessed spooky-cute soul looking for a tee that finally says what you're thinking, or a fellow creative who Googled lisa little, clicked something random, and landed in a very orange, very purple corner of the internet. Either way - welcome. Pull up a tote bag. Let me tell you how a little shoppe turn into a Halloween tee home.

It Started With One Tee and a Lot of October Energy

Here's the honest truth: I never set out to build a brand. I set out to make one shirt for myself.

I'm the person who starts decorating for Halloween on September 1st, who owns more black leggings than any reasonable adult should, and who has a strong opinion about whether a graphic tee is "cute-spooky" or "just spooky-spooky." (There's a difference. I will die on this hill.)

When I couldn't find a shirt that matched the exact vibe in my head - playful, cheeky, a little goth-lite, but never mean - I made it myself. I wore it. Three people asked where I got it. Then five. Then a stranger at a coffee shop asked if I sold them.

And that's how Lisa's Little Shoppe was born: out of a genuinely annoying personal problem that turned out to be everyone else's problem too.

What "Spooky-Cute" Actually Means Around Here

People ask me to describe the aesthetic, and I always land in the same place: Halloween-forever, but friendly about it.

It's the difference between a haunted house that makes you scream and a haunted house where the ghost is laughing. Our whole catalog lives in that second house.

Think:

·        Punny one-liners that earn a real laugh, not a polite smile - like our Don't Judge Me For Being a Hot Mummy Tee.

·        Coffee-fueled chaos energy, because Caffeinated & Regenerated is a lifestyle, not a design.

·        Unapologetic October devotion, for the crowd whose heart will always belong to October.

·        A healthy dose of sass, see: Just a Girl Who Loves Fishnets and Leggings. Period!

And yes - whether you call me Lisa Little, Lisa Littlechap, or just the lady with the bats, it's all the same shoppe. Same tees, same puns, same slightly obsessive attention to whether the print sits right on the chest.

From Tees to Totes: How the Line Grew

It didn't stop at t-shirts, and honestly, it shouldn't have.

The Caffeinated & Regenerated Frankenstein design was too good to keep on just one garment, so it now lives on a canvas tote bag for errands, farmers markets and carrying way too much stuff. The Brain Freeze graphic made the leap from tank top to everyday tee, because iced-drink season deserves year-round representation. And the fishnets-and-leggings line got a soft retro baseball tee, for the days you want the spooky-cute look minus the full commitment to all black.

Every single design starts the same way: something I'd genuinely wear, something that would make a friend snort-laugh, and something that stays wearable after October 31st. No costume-only pieces. No "you had to be there" jokes. Just tees, tanks and totes you'll reach for again in February because they're that good.

Why a Little Shoppe Beats a Big Box

I'm not trying to be the biggest brand on the internet. I'm trying to be the one that feels like a friend made your shirt.

That means a few things I take seriously:

Every order is personal. When you order from a little shoppe, you're ordering from an actual human who reads the notes, double-checks the colors and y'know, cares.

Custom orders are welcome, not a hassle. Want a design on a different style or color? Have an idea that isn't in the catalog yet? That's my favorite kind of email.

Bulk orders make sense for shops and side-hustlers. If you run a small business, a market stall or a craft fair booth, you don't need a mega-mogul minimum. You need reasonable pricing and someone who answers their messages.

DTF transfers exist for the DIY crowd. If you already have a press and your own blanks, I can hand you the transfers so you can make the magic yourself.

No gatekeeping, no corporate coldness. Just a shoppe that stays little on purpose.

What's Coming Next (Because October Never Really Ends)

I've got a growing list of designs I can't wait to share - more punny Halloween tees, more spooky-cute tanks, and a few tote ideas that made me laugh out loud in the middle of the night. If you've ever had a phrase stuck in your head that would look perfect on a shirt, tell me. Some of the best designs here started as somebody else's "hey, you should make this."

So whether you searched for lisa littlechap because a friend told you about a weird little Halloween shop, or you simply wandered in from the internet void, I'm glad you're here.

Take a look around. Find the tee that says the thing you're always thinking. And if it makes you smirk in the mirror, that's the whole point.

Boos and ghouls - welcome home. 🦇
