Let's be honest, motherhood doesn't always leave us feeling like glamorous goddesses.

One day, I looked down at my hand and noticed my skin was SO dry that it honestly looked and felt like it had been mummified.

And because I'm a mom with a slightly twisted sense of humor, my immediate thought was:

“Don't judge me for being a hot mummy.” 😂

And just like that, this design was born!

I turned that random mom moment into an adorable little mummy with giant eyes, a lantern, and a whole lot of attitude. Because if we're going to be dry, tired, spooky, and held together by approximately 47 strips of metaphorical gauze… we might as well look cute doing it. 🖤

This design started with something incredibly glamorous:

My dry hands.

Yep. 😂

One day I noticed how dry my skin was and thought it felt like I had been mummified. Being a mom, I immediately turned the observation into a joke: Don't judge me for being a hot mummy.

And because I can't seem to leave a silly idea alone, that little joke eventually became this adorable mummy design.

That's one of the things I love about creating for Lisa's Little Shoppe — sometimes inspiration comes from the moon and stars, sometimes from classic monsters, and sometimes...
